“For 12 years, I worked with a professional repertory company, Mysteriously Yours. The cast created the characters, often take-offs of real life people in the news, and we wrote the scripts which were usually parodies of old movies- Sunset Boulevard, Murder on the Orient Express, The Maltese Falcon, or tributes to singing legends, Elvis Presley and Billy Ray Cyrus. They were also written as murder mysteries where the audience would have to guess the “killer” . The “characters” would also eat dinner with the audience and interact with them. Lots of fun and always full of surprises. In 2013 I returned to play the Dowager Countess in a spoof of Downton Abbey called “Uptown Abbey” .
