International Credits

Asian Television

Gaijin (foreigners) in Japanese television are mostly used for historical re-enactments. In productions for FUJI TV and Nihon TV, Elizabeth portrayed a range of famous figures: Ruth Ellis, Doris Stokes, Lady Emma Hamilton, the Virgin Mary, and — memorably — a witch burned at the stake. In Hong Kong, she has worked extensively with RTHK Educational Television, including a recurring role as the Sea Witch in their adaptation of The Little Mermaid.

Improvisational
Dinner Theatre

"The cast created the characters — often take-offs of real people in the news — and we wrote the scripts, usually parodies of old movies, also written as murder mysteries where the audience had to guess the killer."

Elizabeth has performed in improvisational dinner theatre since the 1980s, working with the professional repertory company Mysteriously Yours as both actor and co-writer. Characters would eat dinner with the audience and interact with them throughout the evening. In 2013, she returned to play the Dowager Countess in Uptown Abbey — a spoof of Downton Abbey.
